• With Other Users: Your name, age, photo, and category are visible to matched users
• Service Providers: AWS for cloud infrastructure, Apple for payments
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the US-East-1 region. We use:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Encryption at rest for stored data
• Secure authentication via AWS Cognito
• Regular security monitoring and updates

Your Rights and Choices

Access and Update

You can update your profile information directly in the app.

Delete Account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This will permanently remove:

• Your profile and photo
• All your messages
• Your match history
• All associated data

Cancel Subscription

Manage subscriptions through iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.

Data Retention

• Active Accounts: Data retained while account is active
• Deleted Accounts: Most data deleted immediately, some logs retained for 30 days for security purposes
• Messages: Deleted when either user deletes their account

Children's Privacy

Rando is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us immediately.

International Users

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States where our servers are located. By using Rando, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications.
